Suðuroy is the southernmost island in the Faroe Islands, known for its dramatic landscapes and slower pace.
Froðba is a small village with close proximity to the sea and mountains. The area offers walking routes, changing light conditions and a strong sense of place. The house has a strong historical and personal background, documented in the “Saga” section.

Availability |
The house is privately owned and also used by the owners and their families, but is made available during selected periods for stays, including artist residencies.

Practical details |
Stays are typically arranged on a weekly basis.
September–May (inclusive): DKK 2,000 per week June–August: DKK 4,000 per week Electricity, heating and internet are charged according to use. A final cleaning fee of DKK 500 applies. Longer stays can be arranged upon request. |

While primarily intended for artists, the house is also open to others – friends, families or individuals – who are looking for a quiet stay focused on time, reflection and nature.
